An application which act as a bridge between clients and service providers. It will help you to find right service at right time at nearest location from you. Also helps service provides to connect with clients at no time. Like a bridge, it will connect people.
Unemployment, competitive and underpaid jobs are some of the major hardship faced by youth in general. There are job consultancies as both online and offline platforms but most of them focuses on professional jobs. On the other hand, in rural and urban areas there is an increase demand and opportunity in domestic service sector such as elderly health care, cooking , gardening , electrical and plumbing etc. An online platform which connect both above mentioned parties can be a solution for both problems.
Online plattorms are etticient in connecting people than offline platforms considering the pandemic situation . A user friendly online application that can connect clients with service providers on time based on your location can act as a bridge between service providers and those who seek a service.
HOW Important IS a JOB? JOBS are one or the most Important not, the most important thing in every body's life. Our life literally revolves around our jobs. Our childhood, our education, our family, everything is affected by our jobs, or the jobs of people whom we depend on. A satisfactory and well-paid job is essential for a healthy and sustainable life. A job means anything, including business, freelance works which we do for living. So having a job is important. Having a satisfactory job, which one can enjoy and can apply his or her skill set is most important. But how many have a satisfactory job? How difficult it is to find such a job? I think its not obvious that finding a satisfactory job is difficult. Event finding any job is difficult even for well-educated and graduated personals, but we have to find out. If it is very difficult, we also have to find out "why'
On the other side, how hard it is to find out a service when you need them. we need services . Not every one of as are DIY freaks. Some time, our computer may get broke, electricity may fail, pipes may leak, you may have to see a doctor, we may have to talk to a psychiatrist, we may need to find a chef, or local vender who sell our favorite food, So, we all need services at some point. These services may be readily available at our own locality, but we may not be aware.
The idea is to connect these two categories, those Who need a job, people who are willing and experienced to provide a service to those who seek them, or need them. In theory it will solve both problems itself, if effective connections are established. But we have to know certain things, we need answers to some questions. That where we need this survey.
Sample 1-Adults aged between 20- 30yers old, who were actively looking for jobs and were from relatively same locality.
Sample 2- Adults aged between 35 - 70 years old from above mentioned locality
Due to covid restrictions Google form based survey conducted on 25 adults aged between 20- 30yers old, who were actively looking for jobs and were from relatively same locality.
Google from based survey were also conducted on 17 Adults aged between 35 - 70 years old from above mentioned locality .
Telephonic interviews were also conducted for better clarifications and understanding the needs and requirements from both samples.
From the survey conducted among 25 adults who are working or searching for a job, the following findings are
concluded. The simultaneous survey was conducted on 17 adults who seek services at various stages of life
following the facts are concluded. Comparing both the surveys hand in hand we can easily test our hypothesis.
Need for domestic services are high in demand specially in electrical, design, and construction related areas.
Adults who actively looking for jobs are interested in design, computer related and mobile phone related. But they are also interested domestic services such as helping elderly people, gardening and miner contraction works for short periods.
People who need domestic services are usually finds it difficult to reach such services on time and only 12 % uses the online services and they think it is more reliable than offline methods.

Majority(52.94 %) of the job seekers tried bath online and offline methods to find jobs and 35.29 % only relayed on online platforms.

Majority(More than 80%) of both sample sizes uses android phones and more than 80% of both samples use their phone for payments .
Based on the research results it is concluded that The assumptions were true and there is good business opportunity in the suggested platform.

By compiling the result of the user research and from the interview with the people it is evident that the opportunity for an online platform is present and more than ever people use online platforms for almost everything including making payments. Online platform for job searching is present at a higher rate. so combining those all elements I designed an online application called BRIDGE, which like a real bridge, connects people. The IJI of the app is made with users in mind and all the research results, which I gathered. It is an easy- to-use, user-centered and beautiful IJI, which holds the function of the app as a primary design choice.
Setting up your BRIDGE app is very easy and the navigations are fluid. While opening the app the screen will welcome you with cool and settle animation which will convert your onboarding experience to be a feeling. The IJI is designed to be easy to navigate and intuitive. Based on your permissions the app will pick up essential details and will carry you through the all-setting up journey.

The end of the setting up journey will be brought to you to a screen where you can log in as a customer or as a tradie. Don't worry you can use both the services once you created your account. You can switch between both accounts easily from your account menu. So you can find services easily and provide services to others also. Your basic info will be shared with both of your accounts. so that setting your profile will be super easy and a fun experience.

Your customer account is very easy to use and you can search almost all services from your single screen. You can see all the available services together. They are categorized and ordered based on alphabetical order.
Navigation is so easy -select your service- find the available service providers based on the distance(User rating is also shown.)-Book for another day or confirm now. You can now see that, the service is on the way.

Setting up a tradie account is also very simple. If you are a customer you can switch from customer account to tradie from your account tab. The navigation from there is super simple
Upload document- Search for the job on which you want to provide your service on- TADA. It's done. You will get a notification when somebody needs your service. You can either go for it or suggest an alternate date or cancel the call. Itis all up to you.
